Our client is a manufacturer and global supplier of crop protection materials. They
market an extensive and broad portfolio of products, have CURRENT state
registrations, and a well-established position in the US and particularly the west coast.
The RSM will work with and manage key customers in distribution, both larger national
as well as independent.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for developing and implementing a
Territory Business Plan which will meet business goals in the sales and marketing
areas. The primary role of the RSM is to create demand and provide a high-level of
service and support to the defined sales territory. The RSM is tasked with achieving
revenue goals, long-term account goals, and enhanced customer satisfaction consistent
with the company’s high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Essential Functions:

  • Develop an annual territory business plan to drive business in key focus markets.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with CURRENT key distributor customers.
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales goals.
  • Participate, present, and/or display at key industry meetings as needed.
  • Cultivate a leadership role in all product performance inquiries in assigned territory.

Education:

  • B.S degree in Life Sciences or an agricultural-related field highly desirable

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of sales experience with crop protection products or other relevant experience.
  • Experience selling to key distributors in WA, OR, ID, CA,WY
  • PCA license preferred

Travel:

Ability to travel routinely within the region 50% of the time via car or by air. These hours
may be longer than 8-5 p.m., M-F.

COMPENSATION:

Base salary range 90,000-125,000, depending on level of experience, and company
provided medical coverage, all expenses covered, and a generous auto allowance.
