JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing and managing all functions of the daily operations and sales for the Region. The Regional Manager is tasked to develop, implement, and drive core operation and sales management practices in alignment with the values and mission established by the owners and executive management team of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Provides leadership to the assigned region — overseeing sales and operational activities.
● Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales,
determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
● Collaborates with senior leadership on creating annual CAPEX budgets for branches within assigned region.
● Collaborates with Crop Advisors to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress toward those
goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.
● Schedules and directs regular sales meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to
increase morale.
● Participate with senior management in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning,
policies, programs, SOP procedures, and financial Operational and Sales objectives.
● Enhance customer relations and drive quality and consistency of service.
● Develop and implement growth strategies to drive revenue and margin growth.
● Prepares and executes regional budgets across distribution facilities.
● Monitor staffing schedules for all locations to ensure service logistics expectations are met while operating at the optimal labor efficiency while maintaining a safe workplace onsite and in the community.
● Lead and coach team to drive high performance culture that accommodates rapid and dynamic growth with
results in operational excellence and high employee engagement.
● Conduct formal performance evaluation process of all operations managers and sales personnel and mentor promotable supervisors and managers on this process.
● Conduct procedural audits of our facilities to ensure accountability and safety.
● Continuously improve employee safety and health policies and procedures contributing to employee safety
and wellbeing and preventing accidents and reducing incident rates year over year to be recognized and
awarded as industry leader in this area.
● Recruit, retain and develop outstanding talent.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
● Strong competencies in strategic Operational planning efforts
● Tactical Operational budgeting and maintaining stable labor costs.
● Fluency in Spanish preferred
● Excellent written and verbal communication
● Excellent critical thinking skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
● Excellent problem solving skills.
● Ability to lead and develop talent.
● Ability to multitask.
● Valid Driver’s License (DMV printout required)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree required. MBA is preferred.
● Pest Control Adviser License (PCA) and Certified Crop Adviser License (CCA) is preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manager or Director level role culture between Operations and Sales
● Proven Experience in tying Operational Efficiency Initiatives to Company Financial CAGR goals.
● Proven experience in development and managing financial statements
● Experience with ERP, Logistics, and Distribution software solutions
● Experience with Lean Principles preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Sitting and/or standing, walking, climbing stairs
● Twisting, bending, stooping, pushing, grasping, and reaching
● Ability to lift up to 80lbs
Generous compensation according to experience, but ranging from 180-190K Base, with generous bonus, full
benefits, and plenty of growth potential.
