- Experience in debugging, testing, and assembling electro-mechanical hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with mechanical and electronic systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Time management and an ability to prioritize and plan work effectively.
- Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Experience in electronics or mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
Helpful but not required:
- BS degree
- Programming
- Experience with ROS
- Familiarity with farming operations
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
Different roles of the Robotics Technician:
- Travels to customer sites and provides field support Configures and calibrates new robots, testing their functionalities to ensure they are ready for operation on customer sites.
- Supports the development team with prototyping, testing and feedback.
- Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintains detailed records of tests, repair work, and system performance.
- Collaborates with team members to improve and innovate robotics processes.
Expectations in the Position:
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance of the robotic systems, including servicing them in the workshop in Paso Robles, as well as in the field.
- Configure, calibrate and test new robots to ensure they are ready for the start of the season.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner with careful prioritization of tasks.
- Maintain close communication with the Operations Manager
Key Objective: After initial training, you will be responsible for making sure the robot fleet is operational. Tasks in this role include predictive maintenance, service and repairs.
